Booking terms

Thank you for choosing to book with Rudder's of Lymington, we look forward to welcoming you. When you make a booking you are entering into an agreement with us. Please read our terms and conditions of booking below.


Prices and payment:


The price includes bed and continental breakfast. We accept payment by cash or credit/debit card. To secure a reservation we require a deposit in advance, of the first nights' stay (full payment if staying one night). The balance is due on departure.

Cancellation and Insurance:


We understand that sometimes plans change so you’re free to cancel or amend your booking up to 14 days before your stay and we will refund your deposit in full. If you need to cancel within 14 days of your stay, we will always try to re-sell the room nights and refund your deposit. However, if we are unable to do so, we reserve the right to charge you up to the full amount of the stay.

No reason for cancellation is ever a nice one and often arises because of upsetting personal circumstance or a last minute change of plan. It’s always worth taking out travel insurance insurance, however unlikely you think your cancellation may be. 




Sorry but pets are not allowed.



We would only cancel your booking if your accommodation was unavailable for reasons beyond our control. We would attempt to offer you an alternative room, however if this was not possible, or unacceptable to you, then we would refund all monies paid by you. Our liability would not extend beyond this refund.




Check in time is between 4pm and 8pm, unless otherwise arranged.




Please be ready to leave your accommodation by 11am on the day of departure, unless otherwise arranged. The balance for your stay is payable on departure. 

Damages and Breakages:


Please take care with our accommodation. You are responsible and liable for any breakages or damages which you cause to the accommodation or its contents. Please report these as soon as they occur. We do not normally charge for minor breakages, but we may send you an invoice for repair or making good if the damage or breakage is significant.




We do not accept any liability for any damage, loss or injury to any member of your party or any vehicles or possessions, unless proven to be caused by a negligent act by ourselves or our employees, or contractors, whilst acting in the course of employment.




Any data gathered during the course of this booking may be held on computer.
